Eibens took part in yesterday’s China Coaching Day in Helsinki, organized by the Food from Finland program of Business Finland. The activity could also be followed online through live streaming.
As an introduction, representatives of the Finnish Food Authority and Business Finland offered an update of the country’s F&B exports status and provided information about funding opportunities for Finnish companies to promote exports to China.
The rest of the seminar covered areas such as export food compliance, marketing and branding, food distribution trends and e-commerce opportunities.
Ongoing events such as the ASF outbreak, the US-China Phase One trade deal and the latest Coronavirus disruption were also under discussion. Part of Eibens’ presentation gave an overview of these issues and their expected impact on the imported food market in China in 2020.
The day was closed with a period for networking and companies’ individual consultations to the speakers.
