Last Wednesday 29th November 2017 we were invited to the IV International Pork Sector Forum organised by Interporc. Its slogan, “From globalization to total connectivity”, refers to the efforts made by the industry in terms of digitalization and innovation as key factors for success.
Currently, Spain is the second largest exporter of pork in the world, just after Germany, but market leader in Chinese market. China is the largest importer of Spanish pork, representing 19% of Spanish exports, which means more than 874 million euros export value. There is still growth potential not only in Chinese market, but in many Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea.
