China’s 1st International Import Expo CIIE kicks off in Shanghai

The First China International Import Expo (CIIE) has kicked off today. It is a 6-day event held from November 5th to November 10th, 2018 at the National Convention & Exhibition Center in Shanghai. The CIIE is meant to create a platform for commercial and cultural communication and provide new opportunities for foreign countries to expand exports to China.

More than 2,800 companies from over 130 countries and regions are participating in the event. The exhibition area consists of two sections, trade in goods and services. The section of trade in goods includes 6 different exhibition areas: High-end Intelligent Equipment, Consumer Electronics & Appliances, Automobile, Apparel, Accessories & Consumer Goods, Food & Agricultural Products, Medical Equipment & Medical Care Products with a total area of 180,000 m2.  Food & Agricultural Products area is one of the largest with more than 1600 exhibitors promoting dairy, meat, seafood, vegetable & fruit, tea & coffee, beverage & liquor, sweet & snacks, condiment, canned & instant food, among others.

We arrived to Shanghai to meet and support our clients from Ireland, Ukraine, Spain and other countries who are taking part in the show. We hope this event will help our clients increase their international status and bring new expansion opportunities.
